THE FRENCH MANOR
Modeled after his chateau in the south of France, Joseph Hirshhorn created a private retreat where he could enjoy the solitude of the mountains and the serenity of “Mother Nature.” Having breakfast or tea on the veranda with a view to the surrounding hilltops, gives our guests this same feeling. The accommodations and cuisine are unmatched in the area. At the French Manor, old world charm and furnishings are seamlessly joined with all the modern conveniences. Many of our suites boast a fireplace and Jacuzzi, private balcony and spectacular views. Midweek travelers can enjoy our 'Enchanted Evening' package. ATTRACTIONS
The Pocono Mountains have a tremendous variety of attractions, from outdoor adventure to family attractions. Famous for its breathtaking views and rushing waterfalls, the Pocono Mountains are a perfect year round vacation spot. Enjoy the laurel blossoms that bloom in the spring or shop at the outlets, malls or specialty stores. Horseback riding, hiking the mountains, and biking the trails are just a few activities offered in the Pocono Mountains during summer and fall. Our surrounding mountains turn into a winter wonderland during the holiday and through January and February. Enjoy many winter sports such as downhill skiing, snow tubing, snow boarding, ice-skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides and more.

Our service is excellent and our gourmet French cuisine is outstanding. The French Manor is an authentic French Chateau, built by Joseph Hirshhorn as a replica of his chateau in France. It is truly a miniature castle. The mountainous setting of the French Manor with magnificent vistas, a stone terrace and rolling lawns creates a perfect atmosphere for clear productive thinking. The French Manor will accommodate up to sixteen persons (individual occupancy), however meeting facilities will accommodate up to twenty-five persons. WEDDINGS
The French Manor is a beautiful Inn with an elegant and intimate ambiance. The exciting part of having a reception at a Country Inn is the opportunity to plan and create a very special day. We have the culinary expertise, staff and atmosphere to do so. The size of the dining room at The Manor limits us to75 persons for a sit-down dinner. We have hosted many cocktail and garden party receptions (with as many as 200 guests or more), utilizing our dining room and adjoining veranda. Larger receptions can be held by tenting part of our lawn area. The setting and view are wonderful. Our stone chateau creates a story book-like setting for your special day!
