FALL COLOR
The beautiful colors of Fall come early to Eagles Mere’s mountain. Mid September starts this season which lasts well into October. This is one of the best areas in the country to view Fall Color because we have a mixture of Northern & Southern Hardwoods for a great variety of colors.

FINE DINING
Our experience is in 3 and 4 star restaurants. Eagles Mere Inn menus, which change daily, reflect this heritage. Limited Dinner Menus offer a choice of at least 3 entrees & might include one or more of: Roquefort Soup; Onion Soup; Gazpacho; Grilled Boneless Pork Loin with Coriander & Apple; Lamb roasts; Veal Roulade; Duck Huli Huli; Apple Smoked Game Hen; Fresh Salmon with Basil Pesto or Hazelnut/Horseradish crust; Grilled Trout; Scallops & Mushrooms; Vegetarian & reduced fat specialties; Key Lime Pie; Pecan Pie, Frozen Lemon Mousse; Chocolate/Raspberry Espresso Cake; Miniature Chocolate Cream Puffs filled with Chocolate/Hazelnut and served with Raspberry Puree & Whipped Cream

GREAT WINE EVENTS
Ken Phillips, PA’s “Director of Wine” along with our talented crew, create an exciting weekend of tasting Food & Wine. Offered during in Spring on Mother’s Day weekend and in the Fall the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. We are organizing a trip to France, hosted by a number of winemakers. HISTORICAL LOCATION
Eagles Mere, on the National Historic Register, was developed in the 1800’s as a mountain & Lake resort by “Main Line” Philadelphians. They built turn-of-the-century Victorian cottages. The town has a few old fashioned shops and a number of antique shops are nearby. Eagles Mere remains much the same as it did years ago when the pace of life was more peaceful and less stressful. Built in 1887, restored in 2000, the Eagles Mere Inn is the last full service Inn in Eagles Mere built for guests of the 1800’s. Norman Simpson, of “Back Roads & Country Inns”, said while reviewing the Eagles Mere Inn, For me Eagles Mere is one of the last unspoiled vacation spots in the East”.
